During the Pandemic, we moved our preschool program outdoors and now we utilize the best of both worlds (inside and outside) to create an even more unique program

Thank you for visiting Lakeview Preschool, located in Burnaby, near Canada Way and Imperial. We offer a program that employs two fully qualified preschool teachers. Children have the benefit of consistency by having the same two instructors each day.

Although duty days are not required, parents are invited to become as involved as they like. Parents may observe the preschool at any time through our one way mirror in the lobby area. The daily routine is consistent, yet flexible to allow for special events.

Each month we discuss a new theme and our curriculum including planned activities and field trips help support that theme. However much of the curriculum planning is left open to the input of the children. We believe children’s learning is enhanced when they are motivated by their own ideas and interests.
